Polycythemic oligemia

Polycemic oligemia is a disorder of the blood composition in which the number of red blood cells and hemoglobin decreases. Oligemia can occur due to various reasons, such as blood loss, anemia, increased destruction of red blood cells, chronic infection, hormonal changes, and certain diseases.

Oligemia is often associated with hemoglobin S, which causes sickle disease. However, this may not be the only diagnosis for oligositis
