Oligemia Simple

**Oligemia** is a rare blood disorder characterized by abnormally low levels of white blood cells and other white cells in the bloodstream. This condition is defined as general leukopenia, a relative decrease in the level of a certain type of leukocyte. At the same time, the number of circulating red blood cells is normal, platelets can also be within normal limits or reduced.

**Oligemia is one of the types of leukopenia** - a condition in which there is a significant decrease in the number of leukocytes in the blood. A decrease in the level of white cells is found in almost all infectious and neoplastic processes within the human body.

The oligemic state and its clinical signs are nonspecific and similar to other types of leukopenia. For a correct assessment of the patient’s condition, concomitant symptoms are of great importance, which fully applies to oligoempathy. Symptoms of oligemia must be taken into account in the process of examining medical documents and making a diagnosis.
