Otolithic Membrane

Otolithic membrane is a special type of membrane that is used in otolaryngology to treat various diseases of the ear, nose and throat. It is a thin film consisting of otoliths (small stones) that are placed on the surface of the ear or nose.

Otolithic membrane is used to treat diseases such as otitis media, chronic tonsillitis, sinusitis and other diseases of the ENT organs. It allows you to improve the drainage of discharge from the ear or nose, reduce inflammation and speed up recovery from illness.

The principle of operation of the otolith membrane is that the otoliths that are located on its surface begin to move at the slightest movement of the head or body. This movement is transmitted to the membrane, which begins to vibrate and creates a massage effect.

In order for the otolith membrane to be effective, it must be installed and adjusted correctly. This is usually done under the supervision of a specialist in a clinic. After installing the membrane, the patient may feel relief within a few days.

It is important to note that otolithic membrane is not a panacea for all diseases, and its use should be agreed with a doctor. It is also necessary to take into account possible side effects and contraindications to the use of this treatment method.
