Pancreatitis Gummous

Gummy pancreatitis is an acute or chronic disease of the pancreas, which is characterized by the formation of abscesses (gummas). Pancreatitis is common mainly in middle-aged men. Caused by acute and chronic infections - sore throat, malaria, otitis media, gonorrhea, etc.

Chronic pancreatitis lasts months or years and is accompanied by pain, weight loss, fatigue and loss of appetite. In severe cases, fistulas may form and a rotting infection may develop, which can ultimately lead to death.

When a purulent process forms, the abdominal organs become severely inflamed. Colic is accompanied by acute pain. Swelling of the external genital organs occurs, urination is impaired, and a hernia may develop.

Specific prevention of the development of inflammatory processes is regular disease prevention and proper nutrition. It is not possible to completely cure chronic pancreatitis. But if you adhere to the right diet, you can reduce the symptoms of the disease.
