Pancreatoscanography

Pancreatoscopy is a modern method of diagnosing the abdominal cavity for the presence of disorders in the pancreas. The procedure is carried out through ultrasound and endoscopic examination. The oral cavity is examined. During the procedure, computed tomography processes the information and produces a three-dimensional image of the organ. On the monitor screen, the specialist sees the structure of the tissues, evaluates their structure, density, and the condition of the vessels and ducts. During the examination, the patient is checked for blood flow in the parenchyma and bile ducts, and the contents of the glands are assessed. If differential diagnosis is necessary, biochemical and general blood and urine tests are performed.
