Phlegmonous paranephritis

Paranephritis phlegmon is an inflammation of the perinephric tissue and pelvic tissue. It develops acutely, which is typical for acute inflammation of the abdominal cavity. In the absence of therapeutic measures, the likelihood of developing sepsis is high. Suppuration spreads to the parenchyma, kidney veins, lymph nodes, perinephric tissue, free peritoneum, pelvic wall, paravesical capsule, uterine appendages. Paranephritis is caused by infection.
