Paranoia Vestigial

In Russia, “paranoia” refers to a mental disorder associated with delusions of persecution and suspicion of people. This often leads to mental stress, increased anxiety and a deterioration in quality of life. However, under certain conditions, this disease can manifest itself in the form of "Vestigial Paranoia", which is caused by hesitation

Paranoia is vestigial

Rudimentary paranoia - (p. rudimentaria) - “abortive” paranoia. Used in clinical psychiatry as one of the synonyms to designate an atypical form of schizophrenia/hebephrenia in children. Most often it occurs before the age of 12 years, although it can develop at the age of 16-20 years. Among the most common symptom complexes that accompany paranoia are hallucinations, delusions, and disorganization of thinking. Patients often react inadequately to manifestations of psychological defense of others.

Synonyms: atypical depression, paranoia, symptomatic psychoses.

Causes of the disease: the causes of rudimentary paranoia are determined by its psychopathological structure. During the study, the psychiatrist received information that during the last meeting the child felt quite normal. However, upon re-diagnosis, his condition worsened significantly. This indicates that the disorders arose as a sudden symptomatic psychosis with or without afterimage signs.

Symptoms of paranoia: Symptoms of atypical depression may be specific enough to differentiate from other illnesses early in life. The most common diagnostic signs are the following: - Intrusive voices; - Hallucinatory component, which represents strange thoughts or illogical desires; - The presence of delusional ideas against the background of schizophrenia; - Emotional lability; - Neurosis and other mental disorders in little girls. If you notice any of the above signs in your child, you should immediately contact a qualified psychiatrist for diagnosis and appropriate treatment. The sooner treatment is started, the faster the child can recover from this serious mental illness.

***Vestigial paranoia***.

Rudimentary paranoia is a mental disorder characterized by a short-term, mild onset of the main symptoms of paranoia.

This disorder is characterized by doubts about the loyalty and reliability of significant others, as well as inflated opinions about their misdeeds, negative attitudes towards the patient, or attempts to harm him. Occasional illusions of perception (schisis) are possible, usually of an acute or intermediate nature. There may be a complete disconnect from reality through the use of fantastic plans, stereotypical thinking, and distortion of the personal meaning of what is happening

Translated from Latin, this phrase means “initial” or “initial root.” This name probably arose due to the fact that this mental disorder occurs mainly in the initial stages of the development of the paranoid process. The syndrome in question occurs at the end of childhood or the beginning of adolescence of the patient. Rudimental paranoia is diagnosed if the patient’s psychosis lasts no more than two weeks, that is, we are talking about an episodic mental disorder.

If we summarize the typical manifestations of paranoia, including rudimentary ones, we get approximately the following list:

- constant search for various dangers from strangers who can cause pain or harm;

- intolerance to criticism;

- fears about conspiracies against the patient’s personality;

- painful suspicions about others; - the conviction that her family and friends consider her a person infected with dangerous diseases; - suspicious attitude towards everything new, unusual, frightening; - isolation from society due to behavioral and speech disorders and a number of other mental disorders.
