Pelvic bone

The pelvic bone is one of the most important and largest bones in the human body. It is located in the lower part of the pelvis and performs several functions. This bone is the central part of the spinal column, but also plays an important role in supporting the lower limbs and genitals.

A bone consists of two halves, each of which has its own structural features. On the front of the pelvic bone there are large ischial tuberosities, which serve to fix the connection of the pubic and ischial bones. On the sides there are sciatic lines connecting the lumbar region of the body with the greater trochanter of the femur. On the posterior side is the long posterior iliac line, which continues upward to the sacrum and downward
