Pentoxifylline-Darnica

Pentoxifylline-Darnitsa is a medicine that is pentoxifyllinol (active substance), which is a modern high-quality painkiller in the form of injections. Produced by the chemical company "Zdorovye" (Ukraine), which is part of the Darnitsa pharmaceutical holding with its head office in Kiev.

Pentoxifylline is a decongestant, angioprotective drug. It is used for tissue trophic disorders, spasms or arterial stasis, to improve the rheological properties of blood and tissue microcirculation. It is also used to treat bladder diseases (cystitis, urethritis). Often used in gynecology to prevent or stop the development of hematometra.

Indications for use are problems with blood circulation, such as the recovery phase after endarterectomy with preservation of arterial walls, diseases of the vascular system of the lower extremities (atherosclerosis, Buerger's disease). There are clinical studies on the use of the drug for the treatment of arteriovenous shunts and damage to the integrity of blood vessels during the use of vascular surgery.
