Peribronchitic syndrome (PBS), also known as peribronchitis or periconchniosidianosis (PECD), is an inflammation of the surrounding lung tissue that is located near the large airways, including the bronchi and trachea. It can occur independently or be a symptom of other diseases of the bronchopulmonary system. PBS is an important diagnostic tool for identifying upper respiratory tract infections and respiratory inflammatory diseases. This also highlights the need to ensure the best possible organization for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of PPS.
