Periostitis Purulent

Periostitis, or otherwise known as tooth abscess, means the process of inflammation of the periosteum of the tooth. Such inflammation is accompanied by an intense pain reaction after dental surgery, ingestion of food, external irritants, and vice versa in a calm state. In this case, the presence of other symptoms cannot be ruled out: swelling, redness of the mucous membrane, increased body temperature, migraine, decreased appetite or general weakness.

How can periostitis be dangerous? This disease must be treated immediately. The disease develops rapidly - it affects the nerve fibers and is accompanied by the formation of a large amount of pus.
