Peritol

Peritol is a drug from the group of H1-histamine receptor blockers, which is used to treat allergic diseases. It contains the active substance cyproheptaxine (hydrochloride) and is available in the form of tablets, syrup and high concentration syrup.

Indications for the use of Peritol are urticaria, cold allergic reaction, seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis, serum sickness and other allergic diseases. It can also be used to improve appetite, reduce weight, and reduce anxiety and irritability.

Peritol can treat some mental problems such as anxiety, irritability, and depressed mood. It can also help with migraines, bronchospasm, increased sensitivity by increasing sphincter relaxation tone, symptoms of sexual dysfunction, tremors, manic mood, erectile dysfunction.

When prescribing Peritol, as with any other drug, there are a number of contraindications. Taking Peritol should be prohibited if the patient has hypersensitivity to the drug, narrow-angle glaucoma, GHD, urinary retention, esophageal stricture, cardiovascular, liver and kidney pathology, visual impairment. Peritolom is generally well tolerated.
