Peritonsillitis Posterior

**Posterior paratonsillitis** is an inflammation of the posterior part of the larynx that occurs as a result of the transition of the inflammatory process from the mucous membrane of the tonsils to adjacent areas of the mucous membrane. As a rule, either the posterior or medial surface of the posterior wall is affected
