Phlegmasia White Pain

Phlegmasiae Alba Dolen is a rare type of acute phlebitis. This inflammatory disease occurs due to massive vein thrombosis. The same applies to white phlebitis, which characterizes the hardening of areas of the skin due to blockage of the veins in the legs, which leads to the appearance of a “white shell” on the patient’s legs. Phlebothrombosis is a serious disease that can occur in any arterial or venous vessels, but in the presence of venous diseases, the disease occurs often.

This disease mainly affects women, aged 40 to 65 years. At a young age, the disease does not manifest itself in women.
