Piroxicam

Action. Piroxicam has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

Indications. Piroxicam is indicated for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and myositis.

Dosage. Piroxicam is taken orally during or after meals in a dose of 0.02 g once a day at certain hours.

Side effects. Digestive tract disorders and swelling are possible.

Contraindications. Contraindications to taking piroxicam are: stomach and duodenal ulcers, bronchial asthma, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

Release form. Piroxicam is available in tablets of 0.01 and 0.02 g.
