Plivasept P

Plivasept is a disinfectant that is used to disinfect hands and the surgical field, as well as to treat various infections and prevent sexually transmitted diseases. The manufacturer of this product is the Croatian company Pliva. Among the international names of Plivasept are chlorhexedine, hexicon, hibiscrub and others.

The drug Plivasept is available in several forms: a disinfectant solution with different concentrations of chlorhexadine, as well as sodium hypochlorite and hexachloride. The active substance in all forms is chlorhexine. They can be used both externally and internally (for example, to treat gingivitis).

Indications include treatment of the surgical field (including before hair removal), treatment of wound infections, treatment of hands before surgical operations,
