Poliglyukin Sukhoi

Polyglucin is a sterile isotonic solution of a medium-molecular fraction of partially glycosylated dextran. This drug is a plasma substitute and is intended for the treatment of shock of various etiologies and burns. Polyglucin is also effective in cases of significant blood loss caused by surgery or injury. However, it is contraindicated in persons with increased intracranial pressure, as well as cerebral hemorrhage, heart failure, impaired renal function and a tendency to an allergic reaction. Side effects of the drug include chest tightness, difficulty breathing, back pain, chills and cyanosis. Overdose may cause dizziness and nausea. No drug interactions have been described. There are no special instructions associated with the use of this drug.
