Price-Jones Curve

The Price-Jones Curve is a graph that shows the relationship between price and the volume of sales of goods in the economy. The name was received in honor of the American economist James Mead Price Jones (1867-1937).

The Price-John curve graph was first proposed at a conference of the International Economic Congress in Washington in 1929. At that time he was very popular among specialists. Work has been published on the use of the Price-Jones curve to analyze various economic processes. For example, it was used to determine the price level, the relationship between the level of income of the population and food consumption, the degree of economic inequality, etc.
