Precapillary

Precapillary arterioles are small branches of arterioles that drain into the capillary network. Connects the arterial bed with the venous one (not capillaries).

They are found in the animal’s body and are of great importance. Thus, directly through the choroid plexus of precapillaries, blood enters individual organs, and it is also enriched with oxygen and other useful substances. Arterioles are the vessels of a human or animal organ through which arterial blood flows. Arteries are vessels that from the left ventricle of the heart reach the rest of the tissues of our body. They are located all above the carotid artery. Arteries are fed with blood that is either oxygen-rich (arterial) or completely gas-free (venous). After the organs are saturated with blood, it flows back into the vein. These are arterioles that drain inside hollow organs and large arteries. Also, these vessels ensure exchange processes between body tissues and the atmosphere.
