Predion-Acid

Predione acid belongs to the group of drugs for non-inhalation anesthesia - non-barbiturates.

International name - Sodium hydroxide succinate.

Synonyms: Predion for injection.

Predione acid is used for intravenous administration for the purpose of general anesthesia. It has a depressant effect on the central nervous system, causing loss of consciousness and pain sensitivity.

It is used in surgery, traumatology, obstetrics and other areas of medicine that require general anesthesia.

The drug is administered only intravenously, in the form of a solution of the sodium salt of preionic acid.

The dose is selected individually, taking into account the age and condition of the patient. Monitoring vital signs during preionic acid anesthesia is recommended.
