Proctosigmoidoscopy (lat. proctosigmoides, from lat. proctus - rectum and lat. sigmoideus - sigmoid, resembling sigma) - a method for examining the rectum and sigmoid colon, the mucous membrane of the rectum and sigmoid colon using an endoscope.
