Dosage forms - gel
Composition - Active substance - ketoprofen.

Indications for use:

  1. Rheumatoid arthritis
  2. Nonspecific spondylitis (ankylosing and psoriatic spondylitis)
  3. Pain syndrome (postoperative, post-traumatic pain, pain with bone metastases)
  4. Gouty arthritis
  5. Pseudogout
  6. Osteoarthritis
  7. Extra-articular rheumatism (tenosynovitis, bursitis, capsulitis)
  8. Renal colic
  9. Algomenorrhea
  10. Gel - uncomplicated injuries (sprains and ruptures of tendons and ligaments, muscle bruises, swelling)

Contraindications:

  1. Hypersensitivity
  2. Kidney and liver failure
  3. Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute phase
  4. "Aspirin" asthma
  5. Pregnancy and childhood
  6. Candles - proctitis and proctorragia
  7. Gel - dermatoses, eczema, infected abrasions and wounds (wetting)

Side effect:

  1. Headache, dizziness, tinnitus, drowsiness, weakness, visual disturbances
  2. Dyspeptic symptoms (nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, anorexia)
  3. Stomatitis
  4. Impaired kidney and liver function
  5. Hyperemia
  6. Allergic reactions

Interaction:

  1. Increases the toxicity of methotrexate
  2. The concentration of ketoprofen in plasma increases against the background of probenecid (inhibits renal excretion)
  3. Enhances the effect of anticoagulants, heparin, ticlopidine, corticosteroids, oral antidiabetic agents and alcohol
  4. Weakens the effect of spironolactone, peripheral vasodilators

Overdose: No data.

Special instructions:

  1. Taking ketoprofen may mask signs of an infectious disease
  2. If renal or liver function is impaired, dose reduction and careful monitoring are necessary.
  3. Do not allow the gel to come into contact with mucous membranes or eyes.
  4. Use with caution during work for vehicle drivers and people whose profession is associated with increased concentration of attention.
  5. During treatment you should stop drinking alcoholic beverages.
  6. In patients with bronchial asthma or allergic diathesis, the use of Ketoprofen may cause bronchospasm
