Prosthesis Cosmetic

A cosmetic prosthesis is a type of prosthesis designed to restore the appearance of a part of the human body.

Cosmetic prostheses are used in cases of amputation or congenital absence of a limb, as well as in cases of disfiguring facial injuries. They allow you to give the affected areas of the body a natural appearance, hide the defect and thereby improve the patient’s psycho-emotional state.

Cosmetic dentures are made from silicone, plastic or composite materials. They imitate the shape, color and texture of human skin. Thanks to this, the prostheses look as realistic as possible and fit harmoniously into the overall picture of the body.

Prosthetics for cosmetic purposes do not require complex surgery. A cosmetic prosthesis is installed on the stump of a limb or the affected area of skin using special fasteners or glue. It can be easily removed and worn only when necessary.

In this way, cosmetic prosthetics allow people with birth defects or the consequences of injury to regain self-confidence and fully participate in society.
