Lymphatic prurigo (p. lymphatica; synonym: dubreya lymphatic prurigo, lymphatic prurigo decalvanta) is a skin disease characterized by severe itching and peeling.
Reasons for development:
- impaired lymphatic drainage from the skin
- chronic inflammatory diseases
- lymphatic system tumors
Symptoms:
- intense itching that gets worse at night
- peeling skin
- thickening of the skin (lichenification)
- appearance of cracks
Diagnosis is based on the clinical picture and histological examination.
Treatment:
- eliminating the causes of the disease
- external glucocorticosteroids
- antihistamines
- physiotherapy
With timely treatment, the prognosis is favorable.
