Pus

Pus is an inflammatory exudate or necrotic organ with a large number of microorganisms, proteolytic enzymes and tissue debris. A pustule is a small pus-filled sore that can be soft or hard. A purulent abscess is nothing more than a local abscess that contains a small amount of pus inside. Removal of pus is carried out by opening it, if necessary - with the help of drainage, and reducing the contents.

Pus is a kind of liquid subcutaneous formation that appears most often in diseases of the skin and joints. Skin ulcers are common among people of all ages. This condition typically involves inflammation of the affected tissues, but it can involve any tissue or organ in the body, including the brain, spinal cord, heart, lungs, and liver.

When harmful bacteria enter the body, they provoke inflammatory processes, causing the formation of ulcers. At the site of organ damage, blood, blood clots, tissue exudate and purulent contents accumulate. It is the last component that makes it most noticeable when examining the patient. If you look at a photo of an abscess, you will notice that most often it forms near the navel, on the chest and back. In addition, this moment of occurrence is accompanied by pain, fever and deterioration of the general condition.
