Pustulosis Subcorneal

Pustules are inflammatory formations containing pus; nodules, blisters; pustules. A pustule is a clinical and anatomical characteristic of an inflammatory lesion, which is represented by an abscess or a local accumulation of pus under the skin. While pustules develop in the upper layers of the skin, on or below the surface, outside the sebaceous glands, subcortical lesions arise in the epidermis itself. These lesions reflect health problems that people are unaware of, which may be symptoms of a compromised immune system or other chronic diseases.
