R-ICS 1 is a Russian antidote produced by Veropharm in Belgorod. This medication can be used to treat toxicity from a variety of substances, including arsenic, mercury, gold, chromium, cadmium, cobalt, copper, zinc, nickel, and bismuth. Mainly used for chronic and acute poisoning with these substances. The medicine includes the active substance dimercapral.

However, as with any medicine, it is important to follow the instructions for use and follow the recommendations of doctors. Side effects include nausea, vomiting, hyperthermia, dizziness and anxiety. However, side effects occur when the maximum permissible dose is exceeded, which can only happen if the medicine is used incorrectly. In case of overdose, measures must be taken, such as rinsing the stomach, taking activated charcoal or a laxative.

In case of acute poisoning, other therapeutic measures should be taken.
