Reflex Motor-Vascular

The reflexomotor-mosal reflex (RMM) is a brain-mediated protective reflex of preserving the innervation of skeletal muscles in response to injury to the nervous system, which regulates the contraction of muscle fibers during the transmission of nerve impulses while maintaining their conductive integrity. Inflammatory lesions or disturbances of homeostasis tend to lead to the rapid development of brainstem ischemia, which causes convulsive contraction of the “resting” muscles with disruption of the contractile mechanism.
