Recompression

Hello again! Today we would like to talk about one very useful thing called “recompression”.

What it is? It is the process of compressing files using an algorithm that makes it more compact in size without changing the contents of the file. What is it for? First, it reduces the time spent transferring data over the network or copying files to disk. Secondly, it can be useful for users who want to reduce the amount of disk space they occupy.

Recompression can be done using special programs such as WinRAR, PeaZip or 7-Zip.
