Removes Reaction

Vidal Reaction (f. Widal, April 28, 1859 – August 9, 1931), who studied organic chemistry, is called the “father of chemical immunology.” The discovery of this phenomenon happened by accident. As a forensic doctor, he first noticed that blood serum taken from a rabid dog neutralized the tetanus toxin. Subsequently, he and his collaborators continued to experiment in this area. The scientist developed serotherapy, and in 1902 he created the first stable vaccine to combat rabies.
