Ren mask for radiance and skin renewal

My review today is about the Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask, which has long been my favorite among all acid masks (now it has been slightly displaced from its pedestal by Oskia and Tata Harper, but that has not made it any worse).

In general, I realized that I was somehow disastrously “lucky” with samples of acid masks. I haven't bought a single mask on my own yet. Oskia, Tata, and this mask from Ren came to me in the form of endless miniatures, and the other two, Madara and Ecooking, came in boxes. In general, today’s review of the Ren glycolic mask will also be based on samples, of which I came across about six over the past year.

The composition of the Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask is very, very rich, there are fruit acids (lactic, glycolic 6.5%, citric and tartaric) obtained from pineapple, passion fruit, lemon and grape extracts, and the enzyme papain (obtained from papaya) , and anti-inflammatory and healing extracts and oils of sea buckthorn, currant and cranberry. In general, for me there is only one “fly in the ointment” in the composition, the presence of alcohol, but judging by the composition, there is not much of it in the mask.

Using a mask

First, let's talk about how to use the Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask. Everything is simple here. The mask should be applied in a thin layer to clean facial skin and left for 10-15 minutes, then rinsed off (you should use the mask about 1-2 times a week, not more often). Like most acid masks, Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask does not wash off it is best to wash it off with either a napkin or a konjac sponge (I usually wash off all masks with konjac). Plus, such masks do a good job of “pushing” the contents of the pores to come out, so after them I usually do clay cleansing masks (as if multi-masking).

Now regarding the effect, the Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask is quite delicate and most likely will not suit those with very thick skin and those who like “harder” skin. That is, the effect of the mask is quite mild, plus, of course, there is a cumulative effect. With constant use, the skin becomes very smooth (dead cells are exfoliated), the relief is evened out, dullness disappears and, accordingly, a slight radiance appears in the skin (this effect appears after the first use of the mask), pores are slightly cleaned, and peeling is removed. Also, the mask is supposed to lighten acne marks, judging by the composition, but I don’t have it, so I can’t comment.

Conclusion

That's my entire review of the Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask. In fact, this is a very worthy representative of acid masks (by and large, they are all approximately similar in terms of effect). Also, do not forget to use Sanskrins after using Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask and other acid masks, so as not to provoke the appearance of pigmentation and not contribute to skin aging.

Consistency and aroma

The mask is similar to honey in consistency and appearance. And it smells like citrus jam, with notes of vanilla. The mask spreads beautifully - easily and simply, and the aroma is simply magical. It turns out to be a kind of aromatherapy - straight anti-stress =)

Effect

I apply the mask for 10-15 minutes. A few minutes after application, the skin begins to tingle slightly in the T-zone, but the skin does not burn, it does not redden or burn.

I wash off this mask with a napkin, otherwise it can be washed off endlessly. After rinsing off, the skin is perfect: radiant, even and smooth.

The main effect of this mask is the following - it gently but very thoroughly exfoliates with constant use, the skin texture becomes more even. But the mask does not clean the pores at all and does not affect them in any way.

By the way, this mask is great in the spring, when the skin is dull and lifeless.

Using this mask is a great pleasure for me personally - its smell is some kind of heavenly delicacy. The consistency is reminiscent of sticky honey, and the smell is like fruit, some divine mixture of pineapple, nectarine, papaya and something else. The only thing that mars the whole process is washing it off - it’s very sticky, you have to wash it off with all sorts of extras. Devices such as cotton pads. I immediately noticed that the skin looks brighter and the color evens out after this mask. If there are no serious problems with the skin, then it really does lightly polish. With severe problems, peeling, or post-acne, it copes with a B, after all, this is a gentle remedy. Although the manufacturer warns that the mask REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask not intended for sensitive skin, I didn’t believe it and my apparently not very sensitive skin did not react in any way, except that when I use the skin under the mask itches slightly (I can’t even call it tingling). I didn’t notice any particular struggle with this mask against the appearance of wrinkles.
