Retinitis Ring-shaped

Retinitis annular is a type of retinopathy that occurs due to poor circulation in the retina. It can be caused by various factors, such as diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis and other vascular diseases.

Retinitis annulare appears as white or gray spots on the retina, which can be located either in the center or at the edges of the visual field. These stains can cause decreased visual acuity and other visual disturbances, especially with prolonged exposure.

Treatment for annular retinopathy includes monitoring the condition of blood vessels, lowering blood cholesterol levels, and taking medications to improve blood circulation and control blood pressure. Laser treatments, such as photocoagulation, may also be used.

It is important to remember that annular retinopathy is a serious condition that can lead to vision loss. Therefore, it is necessary to undergo regular examinations with an ophthalmologist and monitor your health.
