**Rigel's sign,** a type of Ortner's symptom, in which pain occurs in the right hypochondrium and muscle tension when tapping the right costal arch and the corresponding position of the patient; register moans; the patient usually assumes the “Reaumur pose” with light pressure on the arch, this sign is negative; At the onset of the disease, the pain is not constant. Pain syndrome is characteristic of various diseases of the mesentery of the small intestine, bile ducts and their biliary tracts, pancreas, acute and chronic appendicitis and other conditions. The perihepatic zone is also located in the projection of the liver, bile ducts and biliary system, which is connected with surrounding organs - the gastrointestinal tract, gall bladder, and blood vessels.
