Pink set is a set of instruments developed by Soviet surgeon Vladimir Ivanovich Rozov in the 1930s. This set was created for performing operations on the abdominal and thoracic organs.
Vladimir Ivanovich Rozov, born in 1877 in the city of Tomsk, was one of the most outstanding surgeons of his time. He was educated at Tomsk University, where he studied medicine and surgery. After graduating from university, Rozov began his career as a surgeon in Tomsk.
In the 1920s, Rozov moved to Moscow, where he continued his medical career. He worked in various hospitals and clinics, and was also engaged in scientific activities. In 1937, Rozov was appointed head of the department of surgery at the Moscow Medical Institute.
One of Rozov's most famous achievements was the creation of a set of instruments for operations on the abdominal and thoracic organs, which he called the “Rozov Set”. This set included various instruments that were designed specifically for performing surgical operations on these organs.
The instruments of the Rozov set were made of high-quality steel and had a convenient shape and size, which allowed surgeons to perform operations quickly and efficiently. In addition, Rozov developed special anesthesia methods that allowed patients to feel comfortable during operations.
Rozov's set of instruments has become very popular among surgeons all over the world. It has been used to perform operations on various organs, including the liver, kidneys, lungs and heart. Thanks to this set of tools, many patients were able to survive after difficult operations and return to normal life.
However, despite all of Rozov's achievements, his work was not appreciated during his lifetime. He died in 1960 and his instruments were forgotten for many years. It was only at the end of the 20th century that Rozov’s set of instruments was restored and began to be used again.
