Scotoma Annular

Annular scotoma - (s.anulare) is a visual field defect in the form of a limited or extensive loss of light perception (scotoma or immature amblyopia), usually around the circumference, which may impair color perception and contrast sensitivity. Most often, ophthalmologists diagnose this defect in children. Most often, such disorders appear as a result of diseases of the optic nerve and retina.
