Sinaflan Ointment

Sinaflan ointment is a medication that belongs to the group of drugs with glucocorticosteroid activity. It is used to treat various inflammatory skin diseases, including allergic dermatitis. The drug is produced by Nizhpharm in Russia and contains the international name - fluocinolone acetonide.

The drug is available in ointment dosage form with an active substance concentration of 0.025%. As a rule, the ointment is applied to the affected area of the skin in a thin layer and rubbed in until completely absorbed. In this case, contact with eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided.

Despite the fact that Sinaflan ointment is an effective treatment for skin diseases, it also has a number of contraindications and side effects. For example, the drug is not recommended for use in cases of skin irritation at the site of application, as well as in cases of hyperglycemia and glycosuria. More serious side effects are also possible, including arterial hypertension, osteoporosis, growth retardation in children, skin atrophy at the site of application, and others.

The interaction of Sinaflan ointment with other drugs also requires special attention. For example, the use of diuretics (other than potassium-sparing drugs) may increase the risk of developing hypokalemia. In addition, Sinaflana ointment can reduce the activity of antihypertensive, diuretic, hypoglycemic, anabolic, antiarrhythmic drugs and potassium drugs.

In general, Sinaflan ointment is an effective remedy for the treatment of skin diseases, but its use requires caution and under the supervision of a physician. If you have any questions about the use of this drug, be sure to consult your doctor.
