Cough-syncope syndrome

Cough-fainting syndrome is a rare but extremely interesting pathology that requires close attention from doctors and scientists. The syndrome is quite simply determined when a fainting state appears after the patient makes a cough reflex.

Scientists do not fully understand the origin and mechanisms of development of this disease, but their research shows that high sensitivity to the cough signal can cause disruption of the nervous system in the body. In addition, the syndrome can cause unconsciousness in people due to the sudden release of adrenaline.
