What is scleroderma and how does it occur?

Scleroderma (scleroderma, vascular dermatomyopathy, white finger disease) is nothing more than an **inflammatory lesion of the connective tissue of the skin**. This disease mainly affects the skin, but can also affect internal organs such as the lungs, heart and skeleton.

The main symptoms of scleroderma:

**Main symptoms**: - Swelling - Skin rash - Convulsions - Lack of blood supply to the extremities, face - Dry mouth - The appearance of blue-purple finger-like rashes - the so-called white fingers. - Brittle nails

A major health hazard is the recurrence of sclerodactyly edema. This happens even after minimal therapy. Complications can manifest themselves in the form of decreased joint performance, damage to the muscles of the arms and legs.
