For variety, your snow can be colored. To do this, take half a glass of water and add food coloring to it. Give your child several of these cups with different colors. By sprinkling paint on the snow or filling cups with it, he will get tinted snow from which he can make balls, various figures or snowmen. This is a very convenient time to introduce your child to the features of the color scheme. Give your child cups of red and yellow paint and have him pour half of each color into the cup of snow. Stir the resulting solution with a spoon, and you will see how delighted the child will be when he realizes that by combining red and yellow paints, you can get orange.
