Sleep Partial

Partial sleep (s.partialis) is a rare neurological disorder in which a person suffers from recurring, severe nightmares. In some cases, the patient may experience sleepwalking and other symptoms. The causes of the disease are unknown, but experts believe it is caused by damage to the pathways in the brain that regulate sleep and wakefulness. Restoring these pathways often leads to improvement in symptoms and elimination of nightmares. Various methods are used for treatment, including drug therapy, lifestyle correction and consultation with a specialist - a somnologist.
