Spirochetosis

Spirochetosis is the collective name for a group of infectious diseases in humans and animals caused by spirochetes. Spirochetes are microscopic parasites that do not have flagella and their body axis is a long coiled body or helix. The word "spiralizer" means a spiral ribbon." Most spirochetes are part of the natural microbial flora. There is an assumption that in addition to obligate pathogens in humans, there are less pathogenic diplococci that are activated under special conditions (for example, when the immune system is impaired).
