Oon-Toast syndrome is a genetic disorder that occurs in infants and preschool-aged children. It manifests itself in the form of abnormalities in the development of internal organs, especially the lungs, heart and brain. People with Unna-Tosca syndrome may also have problems with learning, speech, and motor coordination. The most common manifestations of Unna-Tustin syndrome are:
* developmental delay;
- immaturity of brain structures; * bluish skin; * heart rhythm disturbances; * disturbance of brain activity.
The syndrome can occur either alone or in combination with other genetic diseases. Its incidence is about one case per ten thousand newborns. Treatment of the syndrome is prescribed after determining its form and consists of adjusting lifestyle, taking medications and performing operations to remove or strengthen the affected organs. However, unfortunately, there is no complete cure for this disease.
