Thrombolysis

Thrombolysis is the dissolution of a blood clot under the action of an enzyme introduced into the blood (for example, streptokinase) (see also tissue plasminogen activator).

Thrombolysis is used in the treatment of diseases such as phlebothrombosis, pulmonary embolism and coronary thrombosis. During thrombolysis, the blood clot dissolves due to the activation of the fibrinolytic system of the blood. The administered enzyme (usually streptokinase or alteplase) activates plasminogen, which in turn breaks down fibrin, the main structural protein of the blood clot.

Thrombolysis allows you to quickly restore blood flow in a vessel blocked by a thrombus, which is especially important in such life-threatening conditions as myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke. The effectiveness of thrombolysis depends on the timely initiation of treatment.

Thrombolysis is a procedure that is used to dissolve a blood clot in the blood vessels. It is carried out using a special drug called a thrombolytic. Thrombolytics act on the blood clot, dissolving it and allowing blood to flow freely through the vessels.

Thrombolytics can be used for various diseases, such as myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism and others. They help reduce the risk of complications associated with thrombosis and improve the quality of life of patients.

However, thrombolytic therapy has its own risks and side effects. One of the most common side effects is bleeding, which can be caused by disruption of blood vessels or tissue. In addition, thrombolytics may cause allergic reactions in some patients.

In general, thrombolysis is an effective method of treating thrombosis, but it should only be carried out under the supervision of specialists and taking into account all possible risks and side effects.

Thrombilization is a treatment that helps dissolve blood clots that have formed in the blood vessels. It can be used to treat various diseases such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PA) and myocardial infarction.
