Thyrothricin (Tyrothricm)

Tyrothricin is an antibiotic obtained from bacteria of the species Bacillus brevis. May be used alone or with other medications (eg, benzocaine in Tyrozets) as skin ointments and lozenges; used to treat infectious diseases of the mouth, throat and skin, as well as infected wounds and burns.
