Thimazide (Azidothymidine)

Timazide is a nucleoside antiviral drug. International name: Zidovulin. Used during HIV therapy.

The antiviral effect of zidovuline is based on blocking the reproduction of the virus. Mechanism: under the influence of the drug, the virus cannot reproduce, it dies. As a result, the amount of immunodeficiency obtained from it gradually decreases. The cure takes a long time without this medicine, since it is not used for other indications.
