MUSCULAR TISSUE MESENCHYMAL TISSUE Mesenchyme - (from the Greek mēsos khein - between, connecting) connective tissue preparations obtained from the body of animals after the second month of life by isolating and purifying fibroblasts of the connective tissue of the stroma of organs, most pronounced in its histological structure between muscle fibers, perikaryoles and cytoplasm of the muscular sheath of nerves. Studied since the middle of the 19th century. The main clinical significance is cutaneous, subcutaneous and cellular tissues. Bone marrow and some other tissues are used relatively rarely to secure skin grafts. Cutaneous M. t. is used in the form of auto- or alloplasty for primary defects, mainly of the skin of the lips. It is used to make grafts and actively replace extensive soft tissue defects. Granulation tissue, originating from M.t. cells, well retains the basic properties of the foreign protein, but has
