Dosage forms - capsules 50 mg, injection solution 100 mg
Composition - Active ingredient - tramadol.

Indications for use - Pain syndrome of moderate intensity in malignant neoplasms, acute myocardial infarction, injuries, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, neuralgia.

Contraindications - Hypersensitivity, acute alcohol poisoning and intoxication with depressants and drugs that depress the central nervous system, epilepsy, impaired liver and kidney function, pregnancy, breastfeeding (suspended during treatment), early childhood (up to 2 years).

Side effects - From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, dry mouth, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, bloating, changes in appetite. From the nervous system and sensory organs: dizziness, feeling of fatigue, drowsiness, confusion; headache, changes in mood, activity, disturbances in behavioral reactions, sensations; cerebral spasms (with intravenous administration of high doses or in combination with antipsychotics). From the cardiovascular system and blood (hematopoiesis, hemostasis): interruptions in heart rhythm, tachycardia, fainting or collapse. From the skin: redness, rash. From the musculoskeletal system: muscle weakness. From the respiratory system: deterioration of respiratory function is possible if the recommended doses are significantly exceeded or while taking other drugs that depress the central nervous system. Other: increased sweating (with rapid intravenous administration), difficulty swallowing water.

Interaction - Enhances the effects of tranquilizers, sleeping pills, sedatives and anesthetics, alcohol. Activity is reduced by analeptics and psychostimulants, and completely blocked by naloxone and naltrexone (direct antagonists). In combination with antipsychotics, it can cause seizures.

Overdose - Symptoms: coma, convulsions, miosis, vomiting, cardiovascular collapse, decreased blood pressure, tachycardia, constriction or dilation of the pupils, respiratory depression, even stopping. Treatment: emergency measures - aspiration, maintenance of breathing and cardiovascular activity.

Special instructions - Prescribe with caution to patients with drug dependence on opioids, shock, confusion of unknown origin, breathing problems, increased intracranial pressure. Should not be used during work by vehicle drivers and people whose profession involves increased concentration of attention. Patients with a tendency to abuse medications or drug dependence are prescribed only if there are direct indications, for a short period of time and under constant medical supervision.
