Treponema Vincentius

Trep? a Vincentii is a single-celled organism that causes Treponema Vincentii, the most severe form of gonorrhea. It belongs to the family of treponiform bacteria, which includes most of the pathogenic bacteria within the group of opportunistic infections of the human genital organs. Today, about 50 types of treponemas are known, their main difference is that some types cause dangerous sexually transmitted diseases, and some do not. The World Health Organization estimates that almost 15,000 people die each year from Treponema vincentii infection.
