Trigonite: what is it?

Trigonitis is the name commonly used to describe an infection in the bladder triangle of the kidneys, bladder and urethra. In medicine, this term is more often used by urologists and gynecologists.

Anatomy: how does trigonite appear?

The vesical triangle, or, as it is also called, the prostatic triangle, is located in the center of the ilium near the thigh. It is limited in front by the front part of the large pelvis, in the back by the sacrum, and on the side of the abdomen it is surrounded by the peritoneum, part of the serous membrane that covers all the organs of the small pelvis.
