Trisequence

Trisequences are drugs prescribed to eliminate the symptoms of menopause in women. They contain estradiol and norethisterone and are used to relieve menopausal syndrome and prevent osteoporosis. These drugs are manufactured in Denmark by Novo Nordisk, belong to the antimenopausal group and are indicated only for women over 45 years of age who have not had sexual intercourse for at least a year before starting Trisequence.

Contraindications to taking the drug are hormonal-dependent tumors, such as breast or endometrial carcinoma. In addition, Trisequence cannot be treated for acute or chronic liver diseases, a history of thrombosis or thromboembolism, cerebral circulation disorders, uterine bleeding of unknown etiology, hemoglobinopathies and porphyria. Trisequence is also contraindicated during pregnancy.
